Angesichts von Steuermilliarden, um welche sich die Banken derzeit anstellen, sollte die Öffentlichkeit alle Informationen über die Geschäfte von Banken in Steueroasen erhalten. Es ist sicherzustellen, dass die SteuerzahlerInnen nicht möglicherweise Banken retten, die munter Gewinne oder faule Papiere in Steueroasen verschieben dürfen und sich dort Steuervorteile verschaffen. Die FIMBAG muss die Offenlegung der Geschäftsverbindungen zu Steueroasen erzwingen und das Ende dieser Aktivitäten zur Bedingung der Zusage von Rettungsgeld machen. Nur ein klar formuliertes Gesetze wird die Intransparenz und Steuerflucht der österreichischen Banken beenden
